Frank Law

October 9, 1938 — August 28, 2017

On August 28th, Frank Law of Maryville passed away at his home. Born in Blount County, Frank grew up in the Hubbard community and was a Walland High graduate class of 1956. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving overseas in the later 1950's. His professional career began in retail store management with Eagles Variety Stores during the early 1960's. He progressed into sales and worked as a manufacturers representative covering accounts in the Southeast. In 1980, he established his own marketing organization which is still operating today. Frank retired from sales in 1998 and purchased a convenient store a year later operating Laws Market and Deli for the next 15 years. He always enjoyed meeting people and made a host of good friends throughout his life. Frank had several passions which he pursued. He loved music and learned to play the guitar in his early 30's. Took up aviation in his 40's earning an instrument rated pilot license and purchased his own airplane. He also enjoyed working with wood and always maintained a workshop wherever he lived. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge and Sophia Law; sisters, Alma Coulter, Juanita Law, and Carma Turner; brothers, Bob Law, Coll Law, and Charlie Law. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Pam Law; two granddaughters, Malorie and Will Irwin of Asheville, NC and Monica Law of Maryville; brother, Keith and Ruth Law of Greenback and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to Terry Law for the special care she provided Frank during his time of need and to Blount Memorial Hospice. The family will receive friends on Thursday the 31st from 6:00 to 7:30 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home followed by a memorial service led by the Dr. John Franklin. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
