Faye Almeda Mcmurray

Faye Almeda McMurray, age 84 of Maryville, passed away on Monday June 16, at Morningview Transitional Care Center. She was born on April 15, 1930 in Maryville, TN. Almeda was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She adored her family and shared her love with each of them. Almeda served her family and friends with her talents of cooking and sewing, especially clothes for her grandchildren. She made it a point to make her family feel loved, and she displayed her witty personality and humor at every occasion. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. McMurray; parents, William and Maggie McClure; brother Tom McClure; sisters Flora McClure Walker, Imogene McClure Davis, and Jackie McClure Kelly. She is survived by her brother, John McClure of Jacksonville, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Sue McMurray of Maryville, Ronald and Maria McMurray of Knoxville, Brian and Jeanne McMurray of Alcoa; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Brad Beshore of Maryville; grandchildren, Brigette Barham and husband John, Nathan McMurray and wife Kymbr, Bradley McMurray and wife Jennifer, Zachary McMurray, Sydney Beshore, Brennan McMurray and Jordan Beshore; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Mantooth officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
