Everett Davis Timmons

November 24, 1922 — May 10, 2004

Everett Davis Timmons, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II having served in the Army Corp Engineers in the Pacific, was the first Commander of the VFW 5154, a 50 year member of New Providence Lodge and was retired from ALCOA after 46 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Nelson and Elizabeth “Tizzy” Everett Timmons. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Jo Timmons; daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Stephen Black of Richmond, KY, Vickie and Michael Mynatt of Maryville; grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Sean Nichols, Anthony Everett and Amy Black; great grandchildren, Landon Alexander Nichols, Christian Skylar Nichols, Connor Davis Black; cousin Bill and Beckie Timmons; special friend, Harold Keeble. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Cemetery for a military graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. The family wishes to express their thanks to the caring staff of Fairpark Healthcare Center.
