Etta Palmer Henson
October 22, 1935 — July 28, 2023
Etta Palmer Henson, age 87, passed away July 28 2023 at Ben Atchley Veterans Nursing home with her family by her side. Etta is preceded in death by her sons Christopher and Jacque Henson.
Etta will be missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Jack Henson. Survived by sons Joey (Jody) Henson and Leif Henson (Heather Sloane). Grandchildren Crystal Henson, Thomas (Arisa) Henson, Miranda (Jeff) Lederhouse, Marissa (Cody) Dobbs, Jackson, Micah and Parker Henson. Great grandchildren Shiloh and Safiyah Henson. Spencer, Ellie and Penny Lederhouse.
The family wishes to thank the loving and caring staff at Brookdale Sandy Springs, Ben Atchley Veterans Home and Gentiva Hospice for their dedicated care.
The family will receive friends Monday August 21st at 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima with Mass following at 10:00am. Cemetery service at 12:30pm at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
