Erva Lee Sauls Pierce

PIERCE, Erva Lee Sauls- was born September 27, 1914, and departed this life on September 28, 2007, at 10:35 P.M. at Colonial Hills Transitional Center. She was a charter member of Ellejoy Baptist Church, the only church she ever attended. She was preceded in death by husband Ernest Clifford Pierce, parents W.J. and Nancy Rebecca Sauls, grandson Jeffrey Pierce McConnell, and sisters Jennie Medlin and Essie Jordan. She is survived by son Bill Pierce and wife Ann of Seymour, Tennessee, daughters Gail Ailey and husband Bob of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Mary Lynn McConnell and husband Gene of Maryville. She has five grandchildren Julia Jackson, William Ailey, Todd Pierce and wife Kelly, Brad McConnell, and Gena Damron and husband Harold, and three great-grandchildren Bailey Pierce, Jordan and Rebekah Damron, a step great grandson Jacob Hollingshead, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express thanks to her special caregiver Clara Wilburn and the staff at Colonial Hills Transitional Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 30th, 2007 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Jim Lawhorn. The interment service will be at 4:00 pm Sunday at Ellejoy Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, 982-6812
