Ernest William Satterfield

SATTERFIELD, Ernest William- age 86 of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at the family home. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran serving 4 years in the Pacific Theater. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Jessie Craig Satterfield; granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Satterfield; sister, Alva Mae Heaton. Survived by: wife of 61 years, Lola Belle Turner Satterfield; children, Sharon and Harold Kirkland of Blaine, Dennis and Brenda Satterfield of Friendsville, Shelia and Dean Bowers of Florida, Douglas and Donna Satterfield of Maryville, Doyle and Stacey Satterfield of Maryville, J.D. and Tracey Satterfield of Seymour; 10 grandchildren; Bill and Debbie, Tim and Brian, Mike and Dana, Amelia, Lane, Sarah, and Rachel. 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Satterfield and Wife Lorraine, Perry Satterfield; special neighbors and friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Sunday, August 5th, 2007 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. James “Tater” Wells officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 pm Monday, August 6th, 2007 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service with military honors. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
