Elzie H. Huffstetler

March 28, 1921 — January 16, 2010

Elzie H. Huffstetler, age 88 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Colonial Hills. He was the eldest member of Carpenters United Methodist Church and a member of The Smoky Mountains Trail Riders Association. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Huffstetler and son-in-law, James Vars. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-laws, Mike and Sue Huffstetler, Joe and Donna Huffstetler and daughter Helen Kay Vars; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Isaac Huffstetler, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Glenn and Wanda Huffstetler and Tommy and Donna Huffstetler, sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Linley Hatcher. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Carpenters Cemetery for a graveside service with grandson, Rev. Scott Huffstetler, officiating.
