Elmira Elizabeth Adams

Elmira Elizabeth Adams - age 89 passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daisy and William Edgar Cloniger; loving husbands, Leon Stinnett and Floyd Adams; beloved granddaughter, Kimberly Kay Stinnett; brothers, Mack and Earl Cloniger; sisters, Helen Cloniger, Reva Nuchols and Grace Hafley. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Shirley Stinnett of Louisville; grandson, Jim Stinnett and wife Debbie; great-grandchildren, Jim Stinnett III, Megan Stinnett, and Justin Mock; several sisters-in-law from the Stinnett family; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Adams family; several nieces and nephews along with her care givers and special friends at quality care assisted living and Lucille Blair. Funeral service will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at The funeral home.
