Ellen W. Cook

Ellen W. Cook, age 79, of Dalton, GA, formerly of Maryville, TN, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and retired from Bell South after 42 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Pearl Huskins Watson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Cook of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Emily Taylor Cook, Madison Ellen Cook, David Michael Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Betty Watson of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Ronald Millsaps of Maryville; nephews, Charles Millsaps and Randy Watson; niece, Mary Boring. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at New Providence Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Stan Rushing officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Atrium following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Providence Presbyterian Church, 703 W.
