Elizabeth Elaine ''Buntin'' Whitehead

WHITEHEAD, Elizabeth Elaine “Buntin”, age 51 died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at U. T. Medical Center of Multiple Myeloma. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and retired from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl H. Whitehead, Sr. and Mildred Law Whitehead and brother, Ralph Max Whitehead. Survivors include her husband, Gene Whitehead; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Bryon Haun; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janelle and Harold Kirkland and Leslie and Tim Walker all of Maryville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl Jr. and Linda Whitehead of Maryville, Tommy and Earlene Whitehead of Walland and Jimmie and Linda Whitehead of Maryville; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Whitehead; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Parker and Associate Pastor Shane Bonham officiating.
