Elizabeth Ann Benson

Elizabeth Ann Benson 76 of Greenback passed away August 26th 2024 after a brief battle with Glioblastoma. She loved embroidering, floral arranging and spending time with her family. Preceded in death her parents Wayne and Ivis Tipsword. Survived by her loving husband of 58 years Ralph Benson. Daughters Stephanie (David) Simerly of Maryville. Amy (Ronnie) Rogers of Maryville. Sister Shirley Hall of Greenback. Grandchildren Natalie, Tristan, Jarid, James, Carmen and Will. Great Grandchildren Ryker and another baby girl on the way. As per Liz's request no funeral or memorial service will be held. "Remember me with smiles and laughter for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all."
