Eliga Donald ''Podink'' Hall

Eliga D. Podink Hall went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2012. He was born November 18, 1927. He was the youngest of ll children born to Fred and Lizzie Hall. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from American Airlines. Eliga lived his life as a servant to those around him. He spent many years as a volunteer at Walland and Heritage High Schools. He was always willing to help someone in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eleanor Hall; two daughters who adored him, Deborah Gourley and husband Dale, and Donna Wheeler; grandchildren, David and Kelly Wheeler, Ben and Stacie Wheeler, Jessica and Randy Schroeder, Kaitlin and Brian Evans; great grandchildren, David Michael, Brandon, Connor, Walker, Adam, and Thomas; special extended family, Sharon, Rose Mary, Barbara and Bill, Jane and Mike, Kenneth Sullivan; sister, Pat Brinkley. A special thanks to care givers, Sharon, Monica, Ashley and Derek. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank M. Mason officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
