Eleanor Bush passed away suddenly on October 29, 2012. Eleanor Kathryn Regan was born in Derby, CT on August 9, 1930 to Daniel Francis and Kathryn Sheehy Regan. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 1951 and married Thomas Francis Bush on July 28, 1952. Eleanor and Tom were married 50 years and lived in CT, Canada and Park Ridge, IL before settling in Maryville TN in 1977. Eleanor was a language arts teacher, who taught at Maryville Junior High School before retiring in 1996. Eleanor was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and volunteered at the Community Food Connection. She was a member of the Friendship Force of Knoxville and enjoyed traveling the world and playing bridge with her friends. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Bush and her parents, Daniel and Kathryn Regan. She is survived by her son and daughter-in law Thomas F. Jr. and Crystal Bush of Chicago, IL and her daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Laurence Lindholm of Joliet, IL; Priscilla and James Hirsch of Genoa, IL and Ellen and James Freudenberg of Fort Collins, CO; 11 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Maureen and Richard Lyskowski and brother David Regan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 3 at 1pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
