Elana Lynn Byerley

Elana Lynn Byerley, née Brown, aged 58, died on August 19, 2022, at home in Greenback, Tennessee. In 1984 she graduated from Pellissippi State with an Associates of Computer Science and spent many years working at Denso Corporation and the Maryville City Schools. Immeasurably kind, Elana spent much of her time volunteering with Girls Scouts of America, Greenback School, and Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, which she attended for many years. Married to her husband Mark Byerley in 1989, Elana enjoyed many years traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Elana was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Johnnie Brown, both of Greenback. Elana is survived by her husband, Mark, her two children, Kayla (husband McCall) and Shane, and her sister Rhonda Watson. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and community. Gathering of friends will be on Tuesday August 23rd from 5:00pm-7:00pm with service at 7:00pm at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Greenback.
