Edwina ''Eddie'' Wilson

Edwina “Eddie” Wilson, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at the home. She was a member of Peck’s Memorial Methodist Church. Eddie was born on April 26, 1931 to the late Axie and Ed Poland. In addition to her parents, Eddie was preceded in death by daughter, Gail Sinclair and grandson, Shannon Brookshire. Eddie is survived by husband, Frank; daughter, Kathy; son, Steve and his wife Gail; granddaughter, Julie Spurlock and her children, Trevor and Grayson; grandson, Richard Wilson and his son, Bailey; and great granddaughters, Shaina and Amanda Brookshire. Eddie was a very caring and generous woman and leaves many friends to mourn her loss. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens Chapel for the funeral service with Pastor Tony Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6:30 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Peck’s Memorial Church, 2438 Wilkinson Pike, Maryville, TN 37801.
