Edward Nolan Lane, 96, of Friendsville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on August 5,2024. Edward was a lifetime member of Big Spring Presbyterian Church. He was the Vocational Agriculture and Horticulture teacher at William Blount High School and Friendsville High School for 41 years. Edward proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a precious daddy and a child of God. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Kate Lane; beloved wife, Carolyn Lane; son, Tony Lane; sister, Hope Loveday. Left to treasure his memory are his sister, Jama Wilson; daughters, Terry Smith and husband Tony, Sherry Lane, Tammy McReynolds and husband Bill; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 13, 2024, from 5-7PM with Service to follow at 7PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Scarbrough officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 11AM Wednesday August 14, 2024, at Big Spring Presbyterian Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Big Spring Cemetery Association or HonorAir Knoxville dedicated to the honoring of East Tennessee Veterans of which Edward was a proud participant.
