Edna Faye Teeple

The Lord called our beloved Mamaw, Edna Faye Teeple, home on Friday, April 11, 2025, with her family by her side. Born on May 12, 1941, Faye brought joy, warmth, and a whole lot of laughter into the world.

She was the best Mom, Wife, and Mamaw we could have ever asked for. She had the sweetest soul, could light up a room with her smile, and make anyone laugh with her quick wit and one-of-a-kind jokes. She had her own special way of making people feel seen and loved. Her laugh was unforgettable and incredibly contagious, something everyone who knew her will always carry with them.

She was also known for her signature pink sparkly nails, a small but perfect reflection of her colorful, fun, and loving personality. Whether you knew her for a lifetime or just a moment, Faye had a way of making a lasting impact.

Faye was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Eugene Teeple; her sons, Leonard and Gary Teeple; her granddaughter, Amanda Teeple; her parents, Vina and William (Bill) West; her brothers, Carl West, Bill West, and Jimmy West; and her sister, Johnnie West.

She is survived by her sisters, BJ Garner and Nellie Rayburn (Clyde Rayburn); her grandchildren, Dustin Teeple, Heather Teeple, Brittany Teeple, Destiney Aguilar (Kevin Aguilar), Shania Teeple, and Hunter Teeple. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren whom she adored dearly, along with several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven—reunited with her loved ones, wrapped in God’s eternal grace, and forever watching over us with that same beautiful, sparkly spirit.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, TN, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by Mass from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
