Edna K. Sterling, of Maryville, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a life long member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and a well known artist in the area for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy C. Sterling; parents, Charlie and Ida Wilson Kagley; brother, Jess Kagley; and son-in-law, Kennith J. Bivens. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Sheila H. Sterling of Louisville; daughter, Carole S. Bivens of Maryville; granddaughter and husband, Kristi B. and John Harkleroad of Ann Arbor, MI; grandson and wife, Kirk and Kathleen L. Bivens of Byram, MS; great-grandchildren, Lea A. Bivens, Brooke Bivens, Briana Bivens, Brett Bivens. A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Grandview Cemetery with Rev.
