Edna Humphreys Garner

Edna Humphreys Garner- age 87 went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Asbury Place. Edna, was born October 24, 1922 in Kingston, TN. Edna was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church and a member of Carolyn Carter’s Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leah Maness Humphreys; brothers and sister, Harold, Bob and Kathleen Humphreys; her devoted husband, James Ernest Garner. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy A. Garner and Jean Garner, J. Michael Garner and Kim Garner; grandchildren, Timothy A. Garner Jr, Jeffrey S. Garner, Angela Garner Orr, Allison Garner Hiday, and Lara A. Garner; she also has four great grandchildren, Lane, Anna, Luke, and Cooper Garner. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
