Edith O'Connor Boling

Boling, Edith O’Connor age 76 , passed away Friday October 1, 2010 at Maryville Healthcare and Rehab surrounded by her family. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. She retired from Lakeshore Mental Hospital after 25 years of service. She was also a member of the first graduating class of X-Ray Technicians from Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Ethel O’Connor. She is survived by her sons and daughters in laws, Russ and Melissa Boling of Louisville, Mitch and Felicia Boling of Maryville, Mark and Debra Boling of Maryville, daughter and son in law, Terry and Randy Simerly of Maryville, Granddaughters: Megan Boling, Whitley Simerly, Katelynn Simerly, Savannah Boling. Great Granddaughter, Kennedi Weigel. Brother and sister in law, Ken and Joyce O’Connor, special sister Martha Purkey. Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to all her caregivers on 5 east at Blount Memorial Hospital and to the North Wing Staff at Maryville Healthcare and Rehab. The funeral will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Rogers and Rev. Joe Black officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for the interment.
