Edgar Horace Bryant

Edgar Horace Bryant, age 70 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2004, at his home. He was a Mechanical Engineer with the DOE Facilities for 30 years. He was an avid U. T. sports fan and loved boating, farming, gardening and reading. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne D. and Marie Jordan Bryant; sister, Rose Marie Bryant; brother, John Wayne Bryant. Survivors include his wife, Susan Taylor Bryant of Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Grant and Teresa Bryant of Friendsville, David and Resa Bryant of Loudon and Stephen and Audrey Bryant of Friendsville; stepson, Bryan Allen West of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Nichole, Nicholas, Brayden and Andrew; sister, Carol Bryant Gill of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Marsha Bryant of Louisville; aunts Velma Shearer and Mary Hicks; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Middlesettlements United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Ogle officiating. The interment will follow in Middlesettlements Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Church. Memorials may be made to the U. T.
