Eddie Kent Walden

WALDEN, Eddie Kent, age 63, passed away on January 27, 2008, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born February 2, 1944, in Maryville, TN, son of Argene Petrey Walden and the late Kenneth B. Walden. Eddie attended Springbrook Elementary, Alcoa High School and E.T.S.U. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Maryville and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, he also spent 4 years in the Navy Seabees during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include his mother, Argene Walden; brother, Roger Walden and sister-in-law, Kay; aunt, Hazel Ramey of Cincinnati and uncle, R. D. Petrey of Covington, KY; 2 nieces, Sara Beth Sides and her husband, George and their children, Grant and Ryland and Amy Layton and her children, Blake, Bailey and Chloe. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, in the Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel.
