Earnel K. "Ernie" Freeman

Earnel K. "Ernie" Freeman, age 71 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Ft. Loudoun Medical Center in Lenoir City. He was retired from ALCOA with 32 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, Earnel L. and Charlie A. Freeman and sister, Anna Marie Carlisle. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Freeman of Friendsville; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Teri Freeman of Maryville; brother, Dale Freeman and wife Cynthia of Maryville; sister, Cheryl Freeman. A private graveside service was held at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, attn: Tribute Program, P. O.
