Earl Raymond Moore

May 16, 1921 — February 5, 2006

MOORE, Earl Raymond, age 84 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2006, at his home. He was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army with the 7th Armored Division and he retired from Friendsville Elementary School after 26 years of service as their custodian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Molly Rhea Moore and sister, Irene Wilkinson. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Hall Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Clell Davis; son, Ricky Moore; grandson, Barry Davis all of Friendsville; nephew, Allen Wilkinson and wife Hallie; great nephews, Lance and Mike Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Charlie Carpenter and Deacon William Pratt officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the East TN Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Valley Baptist Church Building Fund, 3920 W.
