Hill, Earl, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church and attended Four Mile Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Korea, was retired from Blount County Engineering, was a well known artist and a Blue Grass musician. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Maudie Boring Hill; brothers, Stanley and Ronel Hill and sister, Lealyer Poplin. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Audrey G. Hill; sons, Michael E. Hill and Kevin S. Hill; sister, Dora Mikles; sister and brother-in-law, Freida and Mack Blair; brother and sister-in-law, Chamless and Frances Hill; sister-in-law, Mary Hill; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth and J. R. Cardin; mother-in-law, Jessie E. Gribble all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harry B. Sherrer officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
