E. Belle Patty

E. Belle Patty, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, member of Everett High Senior Citizens, she was an active advocate for the construction for the new Everett Senior Center Building, one of her great pleasures was dancing at the Center, charter member of Walland Home Demonstration Club and retired from Stanley Home Products after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. L. and Maude Brewer Frye; husband, Ben Reed Patty. Survivors include her son, Ben Patty, Jr. and wife Lisa of Tampa, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Steve Bethel of Maryville, Martha and Jimbo Payne of Maryville; grandchildren, Rick Ridings, David Wilson, Alexander Patty and Ben Patty, III; step grandchildren, Kristina Brown, and Philip Brown; great grandchildren, Sydney and Cole Ridings, Jillian Wilson; sister, Faye McCarter of New Market; brother, Dillard Frye of IL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
