Dr. Harry A. Stratton

STRATTON, Dr. Harry A., age 84 of Townsend, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005, at U. T. Medical Center. He was a retired Maryville Dentist and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served in World War II. His hobbies were golf, hunting and the outdoors. Dr. Stratton was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Minnie Cameron Stratton; sister, Helen Webb; brothers, Claude Stratton, Jr. and Bud Stratton. Survivors include his wife, Ilene Burns Stratton of Townsend; daughter, Harriet Pangle of Townsend; grandson, Aaron Todd Pangle of Townsend; sisters, Betty White of Alcoa, Jane Burchfield of Maryville, Margaret Waters of Louisville, Minnie Foster of Kingsport; brother, Joe Stratton of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
