Dorothy Lee Beever

Dorothy Lee Beever passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, in Maryville, TN. She was born on November 29, 1926, in Chula, Missouri, one of eight children. She was married to Dale Dean Beever for 36 years. Dorothy lived in Kansas City, MO most of her adult life, where she worked for AT&T until her retirement in 1986. She is survived by her daughter Deana Dodds (Bob) of Maryville, TN; and one grandson, Jason Bland of Murfreesboro, TN. Dorothy will be remember for her feisty spirit, and her love of nature and animals. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Chaplain Paul Johnson officiating. We would like to thank the nurses and staff of One South at Asbury Place and Blount Memorial Hospice for their loving care of Dorothy over the past year.
