Dorathea (Dot) Elise Cron Diemer, age 98, of Greenback, passed away at home on November 12, 2012 with her family by her side. Originally from Queens, New York, Dot, a retired legal secretary in New York and California, relocated to Greenback in 2004 with her daughter and son-in-law. She was very dedicated to her family, especially her daughter, Nancy. Survived by daughter, Nancy Morris and son-in-law, Charles Morris; brother, Phillip Cron and sister-in-law, Merv Cron; nephews, Fred Borman and his wife Kathy, Michael Borman, Hank Borman and his wife Vikki; nieces, Heather Hebert, Michele Wygle, and Sandy Tyler. The family gives a special thanks to the staffs of Lindas Hair Duplex, Blount Memorial Hospital Medical Fitness, Concord Adult Day Enrichment Services in Farragut, and hospice sitter Josie DeLozier for their kindness and caring shown to Dot. Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Rosemont, New Jersey.
