Dora Thelma Hill Mikles

Dora Thelma Hill Mikles, 92, of Maryville, TN, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Tyler (JT) Mikles; parents, Grant Hill and Maude Boring Hill; siblings, Earl Hill, Ronel Hill, Lealyer Hill Poplin and Stanley Hill. Survivors include her children and spouses, Shirley Mikles Lovin (Burl), Johnny Mikles (Billie), Darius Mikles (Debbie), and Monica Mikles; grandchildren and spouses, Rodney Lovin (Amy), Randy Lovin (Charae), Mark Mikles (Angie), Wesley Mikles (Kristen), Amy Mikles, Kristi Mikles Snyder (Hank), Holly Mikles, Zac Mikles, Michael McMahan, Amelia McMahan/caregiver, Matthew McMahan (Brooke); 23 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; siblings and spouses, Chamblis Hill (Frances), Freida Hill Blair; sisters-in-law, Audrey Hill and Mary Hill; several special nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Kevin James and the nursing staff on 2 East at Blount Memorial Hospital and the nursing staff on 1 South at Asbury Place. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
