Dora Maynard Lyon

Dora Maynard Lyon- age 98, a native of Blount County, passed away in Olathe, KS, on March 11, 2010. She is survived by daughters Patricia Lyon Dennis of Olathe, KS, and Susan L. Lavender and husband Richard Lavender of Hiwassee, VA. Grandchildren are Sarah Dennis Banks and husband Jim Banks of TX, Rebecca Dennis Hampton and husband Alan Hampton of GA, John Lavender and wife Rebecca of NV, and Amy Lavender-Cavazos and husband Joey of TX. Also surviving are numerous very special nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Dr. John Franklin officiating. The interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00-1:30 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
