Donald W. Browne

BROWNE, Donald W., age 78 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, at his home. He was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church, he was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served with the HQ 54th Engineer Maintenance Company, attended West Virginia University, was a graduate of Augusta Military Academy and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company of Cumberland, Maryland and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn L. Browne; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Greg Hutson of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Col. Donald William Jr. and Judith Browne of Burke, VA; grandsons, Christopher Hutson, Trevor Browne and Cameron Browne; granddaughter, Laura Lee Hutson; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Tracy Hutson; great-grandson, Kaden Christopher Hutson; sister, Vera Wonders of Ridgeley, WV. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Brenda and Larry Carroll officiating. The interment service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the TN Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville with Full Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
