Donald R. Bowers

Donald R. Bowers, age 82, of Maryville passed away on December 10, 2019 at Parkwest Hospital. He retired with 21 years of service from the U.S. Marines Corps. and 19 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie S. Bowers; parents, Joshua and Helen Bowers; sister, Orbin; brothers, Dale, Phillip and Jim.

He is survived by his children, George (Deborah) Bowers, Mark (Marilyn) Bowers, Donna Terrell, Ronda (Tom) Snipes; sisters, Tommie, Patsy, Peggy; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2019 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:00 PM. The interment will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
