Donald Hugh Bluford

Donald Hugh Bluford, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at home. He was a member of Greenback First Presbyterian Church, retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during World War II, a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Mountain View Lodge #519. He was also an active member of the National Association for Amateur Radio. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ruth Bluford; parents, Hugh and Ida Mae Wilson Bluford; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Margaret White Bluford. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jim Davis of Maryville; sister, Jo Ann O'Bannion and husband Tommy of Greensburg, KY; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain David Bluford officiating. Masonic services will also be held. Family and friends will meet at 9:00 a.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
