Donald Greer Sexton

July 13, 1930 — January 16, 2007

SEXTON, Donald Greer, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at his home. He attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and was retired from Martin Marietta as a machinist with 27 years of service. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Lucille McConnell Sexton. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Theresa Evans Sexton; daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Frank Knies of Kingston, Donna and Jeff Anderson, Mary and Mark Waters all of Louisville; grandchildren, Adam Knies and wife Mandy, David Knies all of Knoxville, Brian Waters, Nathan Waters both of Louisville; brother, William B. Sexton of Maryville; sister, Ruth Hargis of Friendsville; several nieces, nephews and many loving family and friends. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Father Alex Waraksa and Rev. Joe Green officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
