Delia Rose Dailey Garland

Delia Rose Dailey Garland, born February 12, 1924, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Garland Hendricks and was a devoted wife to her husband Virgil, to whom she was married to 66 years 7 months, and 18 days, also her parents, Wiley B. Dailey and Bess Johnson Dailey; son-in-law, John Miller; brothers, Cal Reed, Dal, Austin, Rex, Horton, and Allen Dailey. She was a loving mother whose focus in life was her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Wilma and Ronald D. Clark, Maryville; Gary and Brenda Garland, Chatsworth, GA; Eugene and Gail Garland, Christine Miller, Maryville; son-in-law, Randy Hendricks, Carrollton, GA; grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Leigh Miller, Shannon Miller, Whitney and Jason Tipton, Amber and Chad Hampton, Jason and LeAnne Garland, Beth and Justin Bennett, Amanda Hendricks, and Derek Hendricks; great grandchildren, Emily, Abby, and Aidan Miller; Caleb Hardwick, Jadyn Tipton; Wesley Joy and Andrew Hampton; Mollie Garland; Tyler and Carter Bennett; sisters, Hazel Russell, Ruth Wilson, Nona Kirkland, and Kathleen Kirkland; brother, Marion S. Dailey; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Patton and Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The interment will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery.
