DAVID WALLACE (DEE) HAUN, age 85 of Friendsville, took the sweet hand of Jesus on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 1 P.M. with his loving and compassionate family surrounding him till the very end. David was a true gentleman. When he entered a room, his love and devotion for God radiated from his very presence. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 45 years. He was a thirty-second degree mason and was known as an avid rabbit hunter. His healthy days were spent listening to the beagles run, but most importantly was his legacy left of a Godly man who loved and served his church and family. He will always be remembered by those he gently touched. Many people come an go in our lives, but some leave footprints on our hearts, such as he. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Nadine; son, David, Jr.; sisters, Sue Frazier and Ruth Stiles; brothers, Jack and Roy Haun and mother, Anna Haun Monday. Survivors include: daughter, Vivian Haun; daughter Eunice Ann Bolinger and husband Danny; daughter-in-law, Marilynn Haun; grandchildren, Bo and Karen Bolinger, David and Kim Bolinger, Brandon Haun, Michael and Megan Haun, and Jonny Tipton; great-grandchildren, Kasidi and Kalynn Bolinger; brothers and sisters, Wanda Dockins, Don and Peggy Haun; many nieces, nephews and friends.
