David Lee Rubright, age 48 of Knoxville, died suddenly Thursday, June 17, 2004, at his home in Knoxville. He was born August 24, 1955 at Great Lakes, IL. He was a graduate of Bearden High School, and Draughons Business College and was employed in sales at West Side Honda of Knoxville. Survivors include his parents, Dr. Robert and Edwena ( Bob & Eddy) Rubright of Maryville; son, Derek Rubright of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Bobby Clancy of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Kelly Rubright of Knoxville; special friend, Deirdre Garland of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the John XXIII Catholic Center 1710 Melrose Place. Knoxville with Father Eric Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Catholic Center. All flowers should be delivered to the Catholic Center.
