David Jacob Bergen

David Jacob Bergen- age 82 of Maryville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at Maryville Health Care. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy and retired as Chief. He served from 1948 to 1968 and joined the Navy to save lives. Preceded in death by his parents, J.N. and Tina Bergen; sister, Regina Bergin. Survivors include wife; Jane Bergen; sons, Paul Bergen of California, Henry Bergen of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Audrey Bergen of Alcoa; grandchildren; Theodore Bergen, Jason Kidd, and Josh Kidd; sister, Helen Robinson of San Diego, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. John and Pam Bergen of Grants Pass, OR. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service and interment with Rev.
