David Fred Borden

Borden, Fred, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church, a barber for 62 years and an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche McKeehan Borden; second wife, Nadine Davis Borden; parents, John and Nancy Borden; brothers, Earl, Clyde, George, Lee and Woodrow; sister, Ruth. Survivors include his children, Carolyn and Kenneth Anderson, James and Phyllis Borden, Harry and Jan Borden, Lois and Robert Owens all of Maryville, Jerry and Deloris Davis of Knoxville; grandchildren, Tom, Becky, Janet, Cindy, Jennifer, David, Beth, Rusty, Todd, Stacy, Scott, Rod and Todd; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Tom Godfrey of Maryville. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tyson McKeehan and Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
