David Alan Cooper

COOPER, David Alan- age 44 of Maryville, went to live with his Heavenly Father of Saturday, December 8th, 2007 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. David graduated from William Blount High School in 1982. He was very interested in history and particularly in the Civil War. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Kermit L. and Leona Cooper, Claude Heaton and Kathryn Oxendine, and special great grandmother Stella Oxendine. Survivors include parents, Everett and Deitra Cooper of Friendsville; Godparents, Jim and Crickett Horne of Townsend; special aunt, Iva Endsley of Friendsville; special aunt and uncle, Lisa and Ricky Fields of Maryville; several uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Monday ay McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Allen Burchfield officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Tuesday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 pm Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812.
