Dalbert Anthony Landers

Dalbert Anthony Landers, age 66 of Maryville, passed away unexpectedly in a farming accident. Anthony was a dedicated teacher and administrator for 42 years in Blount County. He was a very kind hearted, hard working man who found joy in his grandchildren and farming. Anthony was preceded in death by his son, Jared Landers. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Amy Landers; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Andrew Monroe; grandchildren, Connor and Kaya Landers, Graham Landers, and Leilani and Alana Monroe; parents, Grady and Etheleen Landers; brothers, Andy (Pam) Landers and Micah (Jana) Landers; sisters, Susan (Tom) Raulston, Cindy Landers, and Koki (Mark) Best; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home from 5-7:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. The family will meet at Salem Baptist Church for burial at 10:00 Friday morning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
