Cynthia Ann Mehner

Cynthia Humphrey Mehner, age 78, of Friendsville, TN passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. She was a long time resident of Blount County and a 1957 graduate of Maryville High School. Cynthia will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and dear friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the organ, painting, camping and helping others. She always had a smile, and she remained incredibly positive throughout her illness. Cynthia leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Heather Mehner Berrier and Bobby Berrier; her grandchildren, Lauren and Harrison Berrier; her brothers and their wives, Bob & Judy Humphrey and Stephen & Kaye Humphrey; and her sisters and their husbands, Patricia & David Effler and Leah & Rick Elliott. She is predeceased by her husband, Vaughn Mehner; her parents, C.T. & Mary Charles Humphrey and her twin brother Tommy Humphrey. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Maryville, TN at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Immediately following the service, friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Cynthias life at her home.
