Collins, Lum age 83 of Alcoa died Saturday October 26th 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, and was a retired barber. He was a member of the Masons(Rockford Lodge), and a Shriner. He is preceded in death by his wife Claudine W. Collins and parents Eli O. and Ruthie Posey Collins, brothers Payro, Bryant, Lewis, and Billy (John) Collins, sisters Margaret Stoutt, and Daisy Evans. He is survived by daughter Teresa Brooks of Alcoa, daughter and son in law Judy and Tommy Deiderick of Maryville, granddaughter Stephani Brooks of Maryville, and grandson Christopher Michael Deiderick of Maryville, sister Bertha Cochran of Mascot and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 7:00 Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment service.
