Clyde Melvin Tipton

Clyde Melvin Tipton, age 66 of Friendsville, passed away Friday, June 19, 2009, in Rockwood. He was a member of Friendsville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Myrtle Garland Tipton and an infant brother, George Lee Tipton. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Walter Dunsmore and Suzann and Bill Boring all of Maryville; sister, Lucy Jeno of FL; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Libby Tipton of Friendsville; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. William F. “Skip” White, III officiating.
