Clyde Laymon Willocks

Clyde L. Willocks, age 75 of Calhoun, GA, formerly of Dalton, GA and Maryville, TN, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, at home. He was retired from Omnova Solutions as Sr. Sales Rep., was sports editor of Daily Citizen and sports writer for Maryville Times. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Willocks; mother, Myrtle Henderson Porter; father, Earl Willocks; nephew, Greg Willocks. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cathy Gray Willocks; sons, Laymon Willocks of Dalton, GA, Michael Willocks and wife Michelle of Varnell, GA; stepson, Chad DeFoor and wife Laura of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Christiana Willocks, Brady Willocks, Connor Willocks, Lanz Willocks, Gavin Willocks, Brooke DeFoor, Haley DeFoor; brothers, Lynn Willocks and wife Phyllis of Maryville, Tommy Willocks and wife Dianne from the Nashville area; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Nelson Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Bill Dixon officiating.
