Claude Norman Ervin - On June 12th, with a rainbow in the sky, Heavens gates opened and the Lord called him home. He was a faithful member of First Christian Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, retired from ALCOA after 42 years, was an avid mall walker and gardener. Preceded in death by his parents, Fannie Mae and Ernest Ervin; daughter, Norma Mauck; grandson, Jimmy Mauck; brother-in-law, Marshall Loy. Surviving family members include his devoted wife of 37 years, Joyce Ervin; son, Dennis Ervin and wife Ann; daughter, Dana Hall and husband Rodney; son-in-law, Bill Mauck; grandchildren, Lynsey Young, Morgan Hall, David and Nathan Ervin, Shannon Mauck, Alison Hill and husband Shane; great-grandchildren, Kristen and Eric Hill; sisters, Alene Loy, Betty Peals and husband Junior; brother, Vernon Ervin and wife Helen. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Ray, Minister officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
