Clarence Anderson Robbins, of Maryville, born September 14, 1922, passed away July 31, 2011, at Asbury Place with his family at his side. He retired from Blount Memorial Hospital, where he was maintenance manager for many years. He spent his retirement years collecting, building and repairing clocks and doing all sorts of woodwork. He was a charter member of Emmanuel Nazarene Church where he donated the land for the church building. He was a lovingly active member of Greenback Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Robbins; parents, Harvey and Maude Robbins; brother, Charlie Robbins; sisters, Mary Lou McNeil, Eleanor Lambdin, Gladys Naomi Robbins. Survived by dearest friend, Bennie Crisp; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Sonny Henderlight; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Carolyn Robbins, Joe and Rhonda Robbins; grandchildren, Shannon and Bryan Carrell, Adam and Melissa Henderlight, Jake Robbins, Aaron Robbins, Preston Robbins; sisters, Cordia Hatcher, Ada Randleman; 5 great grandchildren, Morgan Carrell, Matthew Carrell, Ashley Carrell, Mallory Henderlight, Xander Henderlight; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. L. P. Ford and Rev. Richard Blackburn officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for the interment service.
