Clara Virginia Trotter

Clara Virginia Trotter, 92, of Maryville, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024. 

Clara worked for Blount Memorial Hospital for 64 years in nursing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Trotter. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Tennessee football/ basketball, Dollywood, Cades Cove, and spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Howard and Bessie Cupp, brother, Richard Cupp, son, Hugh Trotter, daughter-in-law, Norma Trotter. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Reno (Chris Greene), son, Gary Trotter (Jane), grandchildren, Lisa Engelsman, Sammy Laugherty (Nicole), Bobby Trotter (Tish), Aron Walker (Kayla), Kelly Richardson (Billy), Griffin Laugherty, Andrew Johnson, Karly Johnson, Kylie Walker, Trevor Trotter, Tyson Richardson, and Blakely Walker. 

Clara was a leader in her family, a hard worker, generous, kind, and a caring person. She touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A fellowship of friends and family will be Thursday, June 6 at 6 PM at Piney Grove Baptist Church. 536 Blockhouse Rd., Maryville, TN 37803.
