Christopher Keaton Garrett

Christopher Keaton Garrett, age 26, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was a loving son and husband with a gentle spirit and the kindest heart. His greatest joy was making others laugh. He knew no strangers and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Garrett and grandfather, Ken Green. Chris is survived by his wife, Michelle (Shaffer) Garrett; parents, Renee and J.P. Blair, Roy and Debra Garrett; sister, Brooke Johnson; grandparents, Barbara Green, Bob and Sherry Price, Roy Garrett Sr., Ellen and Johnny Blair; aunts and uncles, Tara and Kevin Burchfield, Robby and Anna Price, Joseph Boring, Danielle Curtis, Danny Garrett, Kenny and Angela Blair, Rick and Miri Blair; cousins, Ashley and Emily Burchfield, Kora Middleton, Savannah Rhea, Trevor Cannon, Jonathan and Matthew Garrett, Tyler Blair, Michael and Megan Graves, and many more adored cousins. He was employed by Jtekt of Vonore. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2018, at Hickory Valley Baptist Church in Friendsville and funeral service will follow with Pastor Charles Carpenter and Pastor Jason Wheeler of Lancaster, KY officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 27 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home to proceed to Centenary Cemetery in Maryville where he will be laid to rest with the graveside service at 1:00 PM.
